Create your first freelance invoice

  1. Add your name, your client, and an invoice number you can track.
  2. Enter the agreed services, quantities or hours, and rates. Each line rounds to two decimal places; the total adds those rounded amounts.
  3. Set your due date and add agreed payment instructions in Notes.
  4. Review the preview, then choose Print / Save as PDF and save a copy.

This basic invoice totals your line items. It does not calculate tax, apply discounts, collect payments, send invoices, or store an invoice history. Add any information your client or local invoicing rules require before sending.
